Bible study yesterday was awesome as always. I have such a great
bunch of ladies in my little group. Elderly women of faith who have
served Him their whole lives.
We read the verse "Create in me a new heart O God and renew a steadfast
spirit with in me." (psalm 51:10)
It was actually read in King James which said "renew a right spirit within me"
but for some reason that didn't seem right to me.
This lead me on a search for why I like the word steadfast.
stead·fast/ˈstedˌfast/
Adjective: Resolutely or dutifully firm and unwaveringOther passages with "steadfast"
You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast,
because they trust in you. (Is 26"3)
And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ,
after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make
you strong, firm and steadfast (1 Pet. 5:10)
I haven't been steadfast at all lately. I have been blowing in the wind like
a leaf.(James 1:6)
I am on a quest to be filled with His spirit that I may be found STEADFAST

Unwavering. Great word and something to hold on to. Loved this post!
My favorite is Is 26:3. I will repeat those words today as I work. Things are speeding up for tax season and I'm having trouble (already) finding peace. Thanks Marti!!
Standing firm to the end. It's His call on our lives. Thank you for the encouraging post Marti :) r
